WHO WE ARE*
La Asociacion de Jornaleros y Trabjadoras de Casa de San Diego (San Diego Day Laborers and Household Workers Association) was founded in 2008. Day laborers household workers have been working with community activists to achieve justice and dignity by organizing around such issues as health, human rights, legal defense and leadership development.
¿QUIENES SOMOS?
La asociación de Jornaleros y Trabjadoras de Casa de San Diego (San Diego day Labor
and Household Workers Association) fue fundada en Vista, California durante el año del 2008. Estos trabajdores(as) han colaborado con activistas de la comunidad en la lucha de lograr justicia y dignidad en los campos de salud, derechos humanos, defensa legal y desarrollo de liderazgo.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the AJSD is to achieve full human rights for day laborers and domestic workers regardless of their immigant status. These rights include a just wage, and equal treatment before the law, adequate housing, medical care, and freedom from persecutoin based on race, religion, color, gender, or creed. To achieve these goals, we seek to develop sustainable leadership among day laborers and household workers.
