The Asociacion de Jornaleros de San Diego (AJSD) invites supporters
to help us with our projects. If you can donate some time, please contact

have several projects that can use volunteer talent. 

National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON)

Executive Director, Pablo Alvarado of NDLON addresses a rally at the Washington  Monument.  

In September, 2008, AJSD became a member of the National
Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON), based in Los Angeles.

Learn about NDLON's legislative battles, including the dreaded
Homeland Security Directive, 287g which authorizes local law
enforcement agencies to work with Immigration Customs
Enforcement (ICE). And get an update on Sheriff Joe
Arpaio's shennigans in Maricopa County, Arizona.

You can also see video of the NDLON national assembly
in Washington D.C. which Jorge and Mark attended in
September, 2009.  And don't forget to see the videotaped
speech of Pablo Alvarado (NDLON's executive director)
gave before this year's AFL-CIO annual convention.
